Steve Trojan, CPA
Steve Trojan is a CPA, licensed in Illinois, and has over 20 years of experience dealing with small and mid-sized companies. His experience includes organizations in size from 1 to 400 people in industries such as machine tools, consumer products, electronics, and consulting. His experience includes tax planning and compliance for small business and their owners, IRS problem resolution, cash flow improvements, profit improvement, business planning & forecasting, start-ups & acquisitions, accounting systems and software implementations, and tax compliance and planning for small businesses and their owners.
Mr. Trojan is a graduate of the University of Colorado Business School, is a CPA in the State of Illinois, and a member of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Trojan was a tax and accounting counselor at the Small Business Development Center at McHenry County College where he counseled clients interested in learning about starting or expanding their business. Previously, Mr. Trojan served as Treasurer for McHenry County PADS, and Treasurer for The Lakeside Legacy Foundation.
Christina Schwallie
Christina is a graduate of Loyola University where she received an MBA in accounting and MIS, and of Northern Illinois University where she received a Masters in Taxation. She is currently pursuing her CPA certification. In addition to experience working with another local CPA firm, Christina has worked in various accounting management roles in private industry. Christina handles a wide variety of duties for us including both corporate and personal tax return preparation, and assisting with client QuickBooks and accounting issues.
Sue Cooke
Sue joined the firm in 2011 and is an integral part of our team. Sue is the person that normally answers your calls, and is the one who greets you at the door. While Sue handles much of the administrative activities of the office, she also handles bookkeeping for our clients, as well as answers QuickBooks questions that arise.
Mairi Thennes
Mairi handles all of our client payroll processing through our related company, Complete Payroll, Inc. One of the advantages of using a local payroll service, like ours, is that our processing is local and we have friendly, knowledgeable staff. Mairi fits that role perfectly.
